Plants are the obsession of the new 20's

They look good, encourage nurturing, patience, mental health and have become a great way for people to connect back with nature.

Unfortunately, this growing addiction is endangering several plant species and pushing them to the brink of extinction.

Some plant parents get wrapped up in hunting down rare species, adding too many to their collections and spending more money than they can realistically afford.

Mission

If we buy second hand clothes, why don’t we buy second hand plants?

Or even better: why don’t we swap our old plant for a new one?

Our mission is to promote plant propagation as a free way to get more plants and even offer plants to other people, trying to reduce the illegal poaching, the packaging waste of long distance shipments and the CO2 emissions that all these activities release.

About us

Last summer I thought "I would like to have an app where I could go and swap some plants with people near me" and that’s how Plantis was born.

We are not looking for customers, but for a community that wants to improve their relationship with the nature and the world, step by step.

Our app is free of charge and we don’t sell your data. If you want to support us, you can get a subscription package, that will help us paying the legal fees, accounting services, back-end maintenance and data storage that we need to buy.

Or you can just leave a donation.

Plantis Podcast

Hi!
